Considering Alternatives?

Wow…a new year…2019, I can’t believe it. I’m not big on resolutions, simply because I don’t want to put that much pressure on myself…but those of you who do, kiddos to you, and I hope it works out as you plan.

That said, my health requirements need no resolution, I’m committed to doing whatever I can to live a healthy life…and yes, ice cream included…it provides calcium (I had ice cream while watching a movie with my granddaughter for New Years…and it was worth every bite). I’m big on vitamins. I take Biotin, a women’s multi-vitamin, Zinc, Omega-3, Vit D, B, and C. When I realize how much I spend on supplements, it’s no wonder it has become a billion dollar industry. Today’s society is living longer and taking better care of themselves…yours truly included. Many of us are eating superfoods, walking more, exercise routines…just more health conscious all around.

There are times we are able to find alternatives for health issues through supplements. For instance, I’ll be bumping up my immune system with Oil of Oregano, and I also take two capsules of Turmeric daily to manage inflammation for this old body and reduce the use of ibuprofen. Now, I’ve added Glucosamine because, well, I’m old and so are my joints.

So, what does all of this have to do with you? That is what I want to talk to you about. There is a company Amare that has created a supplemental remedy for sleep, mood, focus, and digestive health. The founders believe our stomach is like our second brain. My step-granddaughter was diagnosed with ADHD. The Adderal side-effects were causing other issues, so her mom decided to put her on Amare and so far it has helped without all the side-effects of a standard pharmaceutical drug. My stepdaughter, Shannon Gauer, is a distributor if you are interested. Of course, you will want to do your research and talk to your primary care doctor before starting any supplement. I’ve added the link for you to research.

But Shannon didn’t stop there…she is also a distributor for Asea. This company has been around for about ten years now. Many of you may be familiar with this company and all of its health benefits. They not only have special water but skin products as well.

If a person wants to purchase these products it is almost better to become a distributor. I’m not going to lie, these products are very expensive. I’ve taken the Sleep product from Amare and it worked better than Melatonin and I didn’t experience any nightmares (which I do on Melatonin). Like any product, it is the amount of time you use it that makes a difference. The glucosamine I am taking will not show its results to me for about six to eight weeks…but I can’t lose faith that it will work. I’ve taken it before and didn’t realize how well it was working until I stopped…silly me.

If you are interested in getting to know more about either of these products, don’t hesitate to let me know and I’ll get you in touch with my stepdaughter, Shannon. I’d become a distributor myself to get these products at an affordable price, but I’m not a sales person…just someone who likes to sit behind a computer and write about different subjects. But for those that are in that sales-wheelhouse, this is also an income source that may be of interest.

Welcome to what I am hoping will be everyone’s best year, 2019. We all know, resolution or not, taking care of ourselves is an obligation we should take seriously. I’m excited to share different options for you to think about. Happy New Year…and, as always, thank you for reading my ramblings.
